Wedding-scapes
Your wedding day immortalized in a piece of art that is truly original.
A 'wedding-scape' is a term that I use to describe the culmination of your wedding day in the way that I capture it. It is a mass illustration that takes highlights from your day, like your specially chosen pink lilies or your 3-tiered chocolate fountain, or if you're particularly adventurous, your tandem bungee jump ceremony... 80 ! All of these different aspects of your big day that make YOUR wedding UNIQUE, are used to create a large (A1) piece of art, personal to you.
It starts off with you and I, an eager pencil and a couple of crisp white sheets of paper, jotting down ideas and toying with composition. We'll go over things that can be incorporated such as your cake, wedding theme, and other key elements from your day. These ideas will then get drawn out on to the A1 board before the day to ensure completion. Then, on the day, I come along to your wedding and take more photos and sketches of things like the ceremony, bride and groom, as well as family and friends. In the afternoon and evening I will then do a relaxed, informal and fun live drawing at your venue where guests can come and see me at work.
